"Hedema has extensive knowledge of production methods within corten steel and served as a reliable partner on our project. They have adhered to schedules, budgets, and all agreements. It's not always that construction projects go as smoothly as this," says Michael Thomsen, who is responsible for buildings at Carlsberg in Denmark. Together with project manager Ronni Jakobsen from Hedema, he has overseen the renovation of the facade of a bottling hall at Carlsberg in Fredericia.

Hedema has been responsible for the turnkey project of the facade renovation and has replaced nearly 60 tons of corten steel. Hedema has prepared the production basis, produced all drawings, and conducted measurements. The project has included a significant amount of project management, production of the elements, and installation of the 1800 m2 of corten steel.

The work process has been really good

"The work process has been really, really good," says Michael Thomsen. "In the beginning, we spent a lot of resources defining the structure and planning the project together with Hedema. We created a test field to ensure that all prerequisites were met before Hedema started producing the elements."

"We found all the teething problems in the test field, so we could make adjustments, note times and processes to optimize the production planning," adds Ronni Jakobsen.

And Michael Thomsen continues: "There are many repetitions in such a renovation, so the resources we invested in the project at the start have come back well because the rest of the process became so efficient."
