Privacy Policy
Hedema A/S is a machine factory located in Horsens specializing in metalworking.
According to articles 13 and 14 of the personal data regulation, Hedema A/S (hereinafter also referred to as the company/us/we) - because we process personal data - must provide a range of information when we process personal data about you. Overall, the requirements are:

The company is the data controller for the processing of your personal data, and we ensure that your personal data is processed in accordance with the data protection legal regulations.
The purpose and legal basis for the processing
We collect and store personal data in order to:
- Fulfill the agreement entered into between us, including delivery of metal etc. and execution of orders and purchases and the related contacts
- Handle inquiries via our contact form, other customer inquiries or complaints
- Fulfill obligations according to the law
- Marketing
- Consent to the use of cookies.
The legal basis for processing the listed personal data is found as a starting point in the Personal Data Regulation art. 6 pieces. 1, letter a (consent) and letter f (legitimate interest) and letter b (fulfilment of contract). We always enforce the data minimization principle and ensure responsible processing, cf. Art. 5 and 6.
Categories of personal data
The personal data we process to fulfill the purpose cf. above is general personal data, such as:
- Name, address, telephone number and email address
- Customer number, order number and payment information
- IP address and information about traffic on our website, cf. any given cookie consent
- Other personal data you may have handed over to us on your own initiative.
As a rule, we do not process confidential or sensitive personal data about our customers and/or business partners.
Employees at Hedema A/S are not covered by this privacy policy, and you cannot therefore read more about which personal data we process about them. Employees at Hedema A/S have been provided with a separate policy on how we handle their personal data as part of ongoing personnel administration. If you are applying for a position at Hedema A/S, you will also have received separate information about this, including submission of your application.
We store your personal data as long as we have a legitimate and objective purpose for this, subject to the rules on limitation, cf. below.
Recipients or categories of recipients
We take the data protection legal regulations seriously, which is why we process received personal data with care and confidentiality.
However, we entrust personal data to data processors who process information according to our instructions. We ensure that data processing agreements have been entered into with the data processors before we start the processing with them, so that your information is processed legally, confidentially and with the necessary security.
If there is a legal dispute, we may also be obliged to pass on your personal data in this connection.
We can also pass on personal data to public authorities if we are obliged to do so.
Furthermore, it may be passed on to another adviser, given under conditions of confidentiality, if there is a legitimate interest and/or a legal basis for the passing on.
In addition, disclosure may take place in the event of a merger, sale or transfer of shares.
Transfer to recipients in third countries or international organisations
We endeavor to use suppliers within the EU, and we do not transfer personal data to countries that cannot provide the same level of protection as Denmark or European countries/EEA countries.
Where your information comes from
As a starting point, we obtain the information from you. We may also obtain information about you from third parties, e.g. business partners.
Retention period
All personal data is stored securely and we only use IT suppliers and hosting providers that comply with the Personal Data Regulation and can guarantee that their data is processed legally.
We have adopted internal procedures and policies that protect personal data from being destroyed, lost or altered, from unauthorized disclosure, and from unauthorized access or knowledge of it.
We have also adopted internal procedures which ensure that personal data is stored in accordance with both the data protection legal rules and the rules regarding obsolescence. The main rule for our storage is that personal data is deleted after 5 years, or earlier if the purpose has ceased to exist. Of course, we always observe applicable regulations regarding minimum storage periods, e.g. the retention obligation of the Bookkeeping Act.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data (right of access)
You have the right to be informed at any time which data we process about you, where it comes from and what we use it for. You can also be told how long we store personal data and who receives data about you.
If you request it, we can disclose the data we process about you. However, access may be limited for reasons of privacy protection of other persons, trade secrets and intellectual property rights. However, if the legislation to which we are subject allows it, you can make use of your rights by contacting us. Our contact information can be found on page 1.
You have the right to receive the treatment if your personal data is restricted
In certain cases, you have the right to have the processing of your personal data restricted.
You have the right to have inaccurate personal data corrected or deleted (rectification)
If you believe that the personal data we process about you is inaccurate, you have the right to have it corrected.
When you contact us with a request to have personal data corrected or deleted, we investigate whether the conditions are met.
You have the right to object to our processing of personal data
You have the right to object to our processing of personal data about you. You can use the contact information at the top to send an objection.
You have the right to data portability in relation to personal data
You have the right to use data portability at any time if you wish to have your personal data moved to a new supplier.
You have the right to withdraw your consent
If you wish to withdraw a previously given consent, you must also take out a contract with us, cf. the contact information on page 1. If you withdraw your consent, it does not affect the processing prior to the withdrawal of your consent.
You have the right to complain to the Data Protection Authority
If you disagree with the way in which we process your personal data or the purposes for which we use it, you are welcome to contact us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Authority.
